Dahua 42212TNI latest firmware

greetings,

i have a dahua 42212TNI and am trying to find the firmware download page on dahua's website but i can't find anything.

here is the info from my cam:

Device Type 42212TNI
System Version 2.622.0000000.5.R.R4.1217.3S.NR, Build Date: 2018-02-07
WEB Version 3.2.1.548909
ONVIF Version 16.12(V2.4.1.513183)
 
is the 42212TNI the same as SD42212T-HN(-S2) ?

SD42212T-HN(-S2)

would the firmware DH_SD-Mao-Rhea_EngSpnFrn_N_Stream3_IVS_V2.623.0000000.2.R.180913 work properly with it?


there's a ntsc, pal and ptz firmware. i know why there is a ntsc and pal but why a separate ptz? don't the ntsc and pal version contain ptz functionality?

the SD42212T-HN is but not the 42212TNI. i flashed the firmware and it seems to work. i have noticed a difference, under the life statistics, only the following are visible:

-Total Working Time
-Upgrade Times
-Last Upgrade Date

all the other info stats related to ptz, temperature exposure, etc. have been removed.

p.s, for anyone wondering, this version of the firmware, like the previous original firmware installed before does NOT contain profile switching based on the light sensor.

PTZ version: 3.02.85.RHNP_17_22968
Web version: 3.2.1.491814
ONVIF version: 16.12(V2.3.1.458331)

I was having a minor issue and had contacted a Dahua tech in CA and they remotely updated the camera.
It didn't resolve my issue but it didn't seem to cause any negative issues with the camera.
