Dahua 5216-4KS2 Wifi tab?

In the menu of this NVR there is a wifi tab. I assume this is to access a router via wifi signal though I do not see any place on the logic board to install a wifi card. Just curious if this is possible or is this wifi tab there for use with other wifi enabled models?

I do understand all of the reasons NOT to connect an NVR to a gateway/router wirelessly.

just use usb wifi

Hello there,just use a cheapo rt5370 usb wifi dongle or rt3070 for old dahua.Also dont update the firmware because it does not support wifi connection any more.

I have the latest firmware. The wifi tab is still there, are you saying that they removed it or is it just no longer functional?
