Hi all,
I setup my BI with Dahua cameras a last year. I have just upgraded my modem/router setup, and need some help. I can view the cameras from the BI PC at home, but not from mobile or VPN from outside.
RIGHT NOW THIS IS A COMPLETE MESS!!!!!!
My setup is that my cameras are connected to a POE Managed switch, which in turn is connected to my BI PC. To keep things simple for the moment, I have the PC connected to a "secondary router", not connected to the internet in anyway just to view at home. The idea is to get rid of this secondary router completely.
Router: ASUS RT86U - OpenVPN setup
IP address of router: 192.168.1.1
DHCP Server pool: 192.168.1.2 - 255
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
TP Link Switch IP: 192.168.1.107
Camera IP: 192.168.1.101 - 106
BI PC NIC1: 192.168.1.100 - No default gateway
BI PC NIC2: 192.168.70.111 - Default gateway: 192.168.70.1
As my router is DHCP enabled, there are other devices which are using some of the camera IP addresses, so would then cause an IP Conflict.
How should I start to sort this mess out??!???!?!?!
