These days some guys want to use Dahua camera with their Hikvison NVR. Here is the guides for your reference, may help guys for the exactly work. But normally we suggest to use one brand for each system, but maybe there has some good models you really wants to add into your system. IPC-HDW5231R-Z, i met some guys asked me this questions, so i post here.
I’ve also got a screenshot of the SADP Software when detecting a Hikvision NVR, That file is called ‘SADP NVR Detect’.
Simple steps,
1) Use the SADP Software to detect your Hikvision camera, Select the camera and change its IP range to the same as the NVR or the network your on to next access the camera
2) Connect directly to the camera which you can get its new DHCP address from SADP.
3) Log into the Camera, Under ‘Network’ enable DHCP.
4) Detect / Manually configure and add camera in NVR.
It’s that simple, It was tricky for me as I hasn’t done it before. But I knew that the problem was networking related and not the hardware.
