It's getting a little old dealing with the "Please click here to download and install the plug-in" prompt that doesn't work anyway. The Dahua ConfigTool by default uses MS Edge or MS IE. I installed 32-bit PaleMoon browser to avoid getting asked to install the plug-in. Can the ConfigTool be modified to point to a different browser such as PaleMoon?
I ended up setting up PalmMoon to have bookmarks setup for each camera (i.e. 192.168.1.100, etc.) and put those bookmarks on the Bookmarks Toolbar. Then it's just easy to click on the bookmark for whichever Dahua camera I need to modify the settings. Screw that plug-in nonsense required by Chrome, Edge and Explorer.
