Hello,
I have a Dahua DHI-TPC-SD2241-T thermal PTZ camera with the following firmware:
• System Version: 2.650.0000000.18.R
• Build Date: 2023-08-14
• PTZ Version: 2.401.0000000.1.RHNZ_191031
The camera is linked via a Wi-Fi point-to-point connection to the recorder. The link distance is 100 meters with an excellent connection quality (144 Mbps link speed).
The recorder in use is Dahua 5432 with the latest firmware:
• System Version: 4.002.0000000.0
• Release Date: 11-08-2021
Issue Description:
The PTZ control has a noticeable delay, and the camera often continues moving beyond the intended position. Even a small movement command can cause the camera to overshoot up to 90 degrees or even to the extreme position. In some cases, it even rotates a full 360 degrees after a minimal control input.
I have tested various encoding settings (see attached image of current setup, i also have used 25fps& general coding& CBR 2000) and different network configurations, but the issue persists.
Has anyone experienced similar behavior with this camera model? Could this be related to firmware, network latency, PTZ control settings, or a mechanical issue? Any advice or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated.
