When using DMSS (any version) on smartphone if you want to view motion alarm video snapshots a
video(.DAV?) file is downloaded each and every time you want to view the same motion alarm.
In my case it takes approx. 30 seconds to download a video and then start to play the recording.
Btw, Motion Alarms push messages are cleared in DMSS at midnight (every 24 hours). It would be nice if the now fixed 24Hr interval
would be configurable.
It would also be great if the DMSS app would support an option "Preload -Cache
Motion alarm recordings". An automatic sliding window cache delete function after e.g. 24/72/168 hours would
keep storage needs under control.
If we would have the above option(s), it would give us real time access to any motion alarm without delay...
instead of waiting 30 seconds over and over again.
With 128/256GB devices , local storage should not give us any headaches.
Is anyone else interested in real time access on device of motion alarms? If so maybe we can
issue a "voice of the customer" request
