Dahua Facial Detection and Recognition

I have Facial detection working great on my smart nvr and a dumb camera. The dmss alerts are awesome. I just cant figure out how to get it to recognize the face after I save and tag it. Does anyone know how to do this?

Face detection is not the same as face recognition.

I understand that but my understanding is that the smart cams and NVR's are capable of this.
