Dahua footage not showing in sub stream.

Just upgraded from 4816 to 5216 dvr for the h264 and 4K.

when I go to search footage on laptop, it only shows as main stream. When I clock sub stream, the bars are not on the timeline. See pics.

Problem with searching in main stream is that it freezes my laptop. any ideas? Thanks.

Are you sure you are in fact recording the sub-stream? Can you see it direct on the NVR? Keep scrolling down your list of cams and you might see a different set of numbers that correspond to your cams, your sub stream feeds might be there .

Can’t see it on NVR either. Don’t remember having to set up recording for sub stream on previous nvr. Thought it was automatic. Don’t even know where there is a setting for that.

Its usually in setup--> storage-->record, your firmware might vary but there is usually a little checkbox as to what streams to record. Again scroll down on your cam list when selecting a channel to play back, sometimes the sub-stream looks a new set of cams with a different letter in front of it. I see yours says D6 D7 scroll down and look.
