This is a huge statement that cannot be stressed enough to the NOOB. Save and spend the few extra dollars for the AI - it makes all the difference. Also consider the few extra dollars to get the varifocal option if it exists!

I forgot about that! Varifocal has been always worth it when I've purchased it. The non-varifocal cameras I have are now only used to direct my PTZ.

I know, I know, it's $50 more than what you wanted to spend...But, don't be like me and kicking yourself for not purchasing the right camera in the first place because I have to go back and replace it later.
