Dahua HDW4431C-A Setup

Ok been racking my brain on this. I can't seem to get in to the camera to change the IP address nor does the Dahua Config tool find the device.

I am using BI and have the cam connected to a POE injector that is connected to a switch. The IP I'm seeing for the camera is the standard 192.168.1.108 but i can't access it from a browser. Where am I screwing up here?

Do you already have a camera @ 192.168.1.108?

If you are sure that the computer you are using is on the same subnet, then maybe try SmartPSS.

I had the same issue, with the Config Tool not finding the camera at 192.168.1.108.. but.. I could ping it and access it from the browser fine.

You can quickly test that ip, Disconnect that camera, open your Pc and ping the 192.168.1.108, if you get a response than something else is using that Ip and it will cause issues like you are describing. If its ok, that leave it disconnected and re set your switch and your computer, and camera and try it again. Report back and let us know.
