I've just acquired a new IPC-HDW1639T which I've tried to test and configure before installation. It appears to power up (white LED comes on then goes off) and its MAC address appears on the LAN. But it doesn't appear to be requesting or receiving an IP address: the dhcp server doesn't log any requests from it and it doesn't appear in an IP scan. Also SmartPSS doesn't detect it.
I know that the default configuration tool for Dahua's "consumer" range is a phone app, but in the past I've had no problem getting them online and configuring them with the web UI and/or the http api.
Is that not possible with newer entry-level devices like this? Does anybody have any suggestions?
