Hi All,
I am running several Dahua TIOC 2.0 cameras at my property. As I am on a corner the majority of the cameras face the street. I find the audio output for sirens and direct communication a little weak and hard to hear at a distance. I honestly don’t think the audio level would deter too many seasoned intruders. The solution I have in mind is to run an IP speaker rather than a dc powered speaker on the every camera audio out line. I am looking at the Dahua IP speaker model VCS SH30. Does anyone know if this can be configured to have audio out for multiple cameras? The video link below seems ro suggest it does. The only issue I have this that this IP speaker of quite expensive at almost $1000. I did how ver find a knock off model, what are people’s thoughts? The seller assures me it will do the job, although the skeptic in me tells me otherwise, again the link is below:
