I do with some of my sites that don't require an NVR/crappy locations where one won't fit in.

The NAS will require NFS to support the cameras otherwise FTP from the camera to the NAS.

Keep a close eye on how many cameras you have setup if you use FTP, otherwise it may crash out with too many cameras triggering to IVS.

i have 2 camera i setup FTP that work fine, but the video with many many file part.
how can i make it a 1 large video ?

what a good apps to open the .dav file? did not like Smart Play.

VLC is a good option for playback

Handbrake is a good option to convert / combine files
