Dahua not recording

Advise welcomed! Have six Dahua cameras attached to Dahua NVR. Five were working fine so I recently added sixth camera. It works well in "live view" but nothing records from this camera. I have compared settings from the other cameras to the newly added camera and all seem to be the same. Is there something I am missing or is it possible I have a defective camera?

Have you checked the "schedule" settings? The NVR can be set to not record a particular channel, record at certain times only, record on motion only, etc.
