Getting the hang of it
Is the analytics function dependant on the cam or NVR? As far as Dahua goes, does one have to install software on the NVR for analytics? Can Dahua NVRs or cams support people counting?

The Ultra Cam I have supports people counting on the camera, dont think my cheap-o NVR does anything with it though.. mebe, havent played with it much.

Thanks. The new 2mp turrent from Dahua you reviewed only has 2 options onboard approx if I am correct. I wasn't sure if analytics options lived on the NVR or not.....Or if analytics require extra software.

the People counting is not on the turret, only the Ultra Starlight..
