Dahua NVR and external microphone

I believe those rca ports only allow you to use a mic and speaker. There can be a mic outside and speaker by the NVR or vise versa. They don’t record the audio

Yes the audio Jacks on the nvr are for two way talk. If your camera doesn't have built in mic or built in audio Jacks, then the camera has no audio support. Replace it with a camera that has audio support.

I have also DVR Dahua XVR5104HS-X1 with cameras which also don't have audio support (they don't have built in microphone nor audio connector to connect external microphone) but that DVR shows "More" button and I successfully connected external mic to RCA in port and got sound. I thought it is also possible with NVR. I will definitely replace camera with new one with audio support.
