Dahua NVR Capturing Hikvision Perimeter Protection

Hi,

I have a Dahua NVR with IVS (NVR4116HS-4KS2). I was wondering, if I have a 8MP Hikvsion CCTV with Perimeter Protection (e.g. Line crossing, intrusion), will my Dahua NVR be able to capture these events ?

I have tried a basic 2MP Hikvision CCTV (no perimeter protection) and it is able to connect to my Dahua NVR thru OnVif. I was also able to set 1-level basic motion detection event through the Dahua NVR settings page for this 2MP CCTV.

yes, i know it is best not to mix the brands because of its prop features.

My question remains. Who has experience are welcomed to share.
 
Unfortunately, it's just basic motion detection that can be identified, via a different brand such as Hikvision to the Dahua NVR. Unless someone else knows different.
