My brother is ordering a couple of these dual "booby" cams:
I have one of those and added it to Blue Iris but he is wanting to use an NVR (haven't been able to convince him otherwise).
If he orders 4 of those booby cams and another single camera such as a 5442, will an 8 channel NVR suffice or will he need one that supports 9 channels?
I'm not sure how the NVR categorizes the dual camera?

Andy told me to order this but it's only an 8 channel: Amazon.com: Loryta NVR4108-8P-4KS2 8 Channel Smart 1U 8PoE 4K&H.265 Lite Network Video Recorder English Version

Yep the booby cam counts as two cameras in an NVR. Blue Iris is a good choice - you will need to make sure to select camera one and then copy that camera and then select camera 2 to get both feeds.
