I have a specific question about the FTP backup functionality of Dahua NVR video files.
With the internal recording of video files on the HDD's you can set a maximum number of days to you want to keep the files or overwrite files once the hard drive is full.
Now I would like to backup my video files to an off-site location.
I have setup the FTP section to record all channels, all days, 24h. And it works, except that there is no way to setup rotation of recording.
So it will just fill the external FTP server HDD, which is not desirable.
On my off-site backup I only need to keep a weeks worth of video files (for example).
Does any one know if the FTP recording honors the settings under the Storage > Basic section, and how to best accomplish my goal?
