Dahua NVR hard drive problem

I purchased a NVR5232-4KS2 from Andy about 7 months ago. Everything works properly including record and playback, except it is not recognizing the hard drive size correctly. I have a 2tb hard drive in it, but it thinks it is a 4tb (shows 3.62tb). I swapped the 2tb for a 10tb, and it still thinks it is a 4tb. Then I installed both the 2tb and 10tb at the same time, and it only shows one 4tb hard drive. It does not detect the 10tb. The 10tb drive works in a different dahua nvr as expected. I have recently updated the firmware. I have also tried a factory reset, still the same. Has anyone else experienced this issue or know how to resolve it? I have messaged Andy, but no response yet.

This is so simple it's almost laughable, but it won't take long to rule it out.....with power off, have you tried swapping the single SATA cable (data, not power) in the "faulty" NVR with the cable from the "working" NVR?

I'm pretty sure that is not the problem, but will try it to rule it out. Recording and playback work correctly. It just will not display the correct size even after formatting the hard drive.
