dahua nvr, how to speed up remote access to play back??

got dahua nvr, whenever i use remote play back on a remote PC using IETab, i cant get more than 2x speed out of the playback with a single camera.
any way to speed this up? bandwidth is not an issue either end, how to fix??

All I can offer is that on my local network with smartPss connected to the NVR, 4x works reliably and 8x is kind of hit-and-miss. When logged into the NVR with IE11, all playback speeds including 16x work well. Remote access adds a variable I can't speak to.
