Hello all,

I am considering purchasing an NVR from AE

In regards to the NVR ; I have narrowed my choice down to the following NVR4104-P which is fairly popular for simple domestic use.

The dilemma I am in is in regards to the logo, to have or not to have.

One seller (see link) suggests NVR's should have Logo otherwise they are Fake. This particular seller has the most positive reviews.

There are others that are selling same NVR for about £25 less without the Logo but claiming that it is 100% genuine Dahua , however from what I have seen of their uploaded video the GUI looks very simple!? (not sure)

I'd be interested to get some advise from individuals from here about their experiences with NVR purchase from AE.

Should I just purchase with the logo?

shrug, I bought a non logo'd one then flashed logo'd firmware onto it and now it has a logo heh.. no difference, they are OEM and most vendors slap there own names on these.. its called a white box, so you can print whatever you like on it and pretend you made it.

I suppose its easier to get a fake white box, but they are easy to spot IMHO.. bullshit model numbers and specs mostly.

no, most vendors cant get there hands on branded versions w/out getting them from an officially licensed (paying) distributor..

the white box models however do not require a partnership since you are not representing the OEM in any form.

No reason to knockoff a Chinese OEM when you can just slap any name on it and get idiots to still buy em.. they knockoff non-Chinese companies far more frequently, there's a conspiracy for you ;)
