Hi,
I'm in the process of specifying my ip camera system. When I first started looking into it I presumed I would simply use Blue Iris with my NAS. However, while I have PC(s) available I don't really want to add Blue Iris to their workload which means getting new PC hardware...
After mulling that for a while, I'm beginning to think that it will be more cost effective for me to buy a non-poe Dahua NVR (I have a poe switch) to manage the cameras I purchase.
I'm looking at the following mix of cameras to start with:
- 4 x HDBW4433R-ZS
- 2 x HDBW5831R-ZE
- 1 x EBW81230

Can I ask, given the use-case outlined what model NVR would you recommend? And, can the Dahua NVR mount my NAS as its hard-drive for storage? If Dahua make it a pain to use my NAS that might change my thinking...

Regards,
Dave
