Looking for 16 channel NVR. I will probably only use 8 but it seems more features are available on the 16 channel versions. It seems there is so many versions available.

No real budget, I don't mind paying more for a feature I would use.
I dont mind using a POE switch or patch panel.
IVS and Facial Detection.
I want push notifications for people walking up to my home.
Faster processor.
2 way talk thru app.

Both have the same quad core multi processor; specifics are not entirely disclosed. I don't see any major changes internally in the hardware per-say. The new NVR 4.0 interface is buttery smooth even on a budget NVR. Its better to make sure the cameras you get have AI features you have in mind; and be sure to use the microSD card with them as another destination for storage. The latest AI NVR has some known issues and things don't sync up well between the cameras and NVR. Firmware updates may fix this, but for the peace of mind, cameras should be first priority.

I'd imagine the processor would be faster on the AI models?
