Dahua NVR4104-W cant locate IP cam through WIFI. (Solved)

I am new to IPcams and NVRs so i apologies for any stupid questions. I just purchased my first sysem yesterday, a Dahua NVR4104-W (Wireless 4 port NVR) and two IPC-HFW1200S-W (Also a Foscam FI9828P). In lack of a manual I have tried all day to get my NVR to connect to my cams through wireless without any luck. When I plug I normal network cable I works just fine.

I have not changed any major settings in the NVR only date and time and I also changed the default IP on the IP Cam to 168.1.1.109 from the default .108.

The Wireless settings on the NVR are 11.1.1.2 with the default ip-range 100-200.

How do i connect my camera through wifi? Any help is much appreciated!

I have no experience with this model nvr or cameras, but I am guessing you need to hard wire the camera and open the interface. Than, find your wifi SSID and log into it with your password. If you think about it, how can the camera just use your wifi without you entering the wifi info?

Thank you for the advice Vector18. I had already hardwired the camera and was trying to access the camera with the config software. That was obviously not the way to enable the wifi in the camera. I had to log in through Internet Explorer with the IP-address, download a plugin and then enter wifi details. Works now, problem solved.

Isn't that's what I said? Hardware the camera and enter the wifi info?

More or less, my mistake was that "the interface" were not where i was looking. The manual says to install a config software that don't have access to SSID interface, that interface is only accessible trough the web with a plug-in and is not mentioned in the manual.

Dont think i would be a bad idea for Dahua to include a bit more comprehensive manual for these things. My Foscam came with a 80 page manual (online), the Dahua camera, as far as i have found, came with a two pager.
