Dahua NVR5216-16P-4KS2E Glitchy Audio

I have glitchy audio when using SmartPSS, only during playback. The video seems to stream fine on playback, but the audio hangs up every 1 second or so. I don't notice it during live view. If I export a clip to a .mp4 file the audio sounds fine. Any ideas?

My NVR model number is NVR5216-16P-4KS2E, with firmware 4.001.0000006.1 (build date 2021-07-09).
