dahua poe switch differences 8et-96 vs 8gt-96

i need to know what application does these to switches are suitable for?
PFS3010-8ET-96(2*1000 uplink + 8*100poe) vsPFS3008-8GT-96(8*1000-poe)

i am currently using the 8et-96 which has two gb uplinks with nvr4216 and router and and i can directly access the cameras. 8gt-96 does not have any uplink ports, can i use 8gt-96 with router without loosing any direct accessibility to cameras? i am confused about 8gt-96 not having any uplink ports.

These days you can use any of the ports as an uplink though some switches do list the first or last port as the one to be used for an uplink.

The key diffs are the speed and uplink ports. So with the later you’d be losing a port due to needing to use it for uplinking.
