Dahua (PTZ5A4K-25X) PTZ controls unusable

I am unable to use the PTZ control in the camera UI. Yet, I can use the PTZ control in both SmartPSS and Blue Iris. I want to set my presets using the camera UI rather than using SmartPSS. This function doesn't seem to be possible using Blue Iris. Can anyone help?

Yep. Have you tried Internet Explorer (yeah we know)?

The dahua PTZs in particular are browser sensitive and many options either don't show or won't hold the settings unless Explorer is used. And not Edge or Chrome with IE tab but plain Ole Explorer.

I have one and is working fine using IE with the PTZ control in the camera UI.

yep, ditto I.E. - you need to change setting within it to keep using legacy mode, and every once in a while you have to keep checking to keep it enabled.
It's already in your O.S. - no need to download anything, except for the Dahua plugin to view the stream. It does work good.
should be in C:/programfiles/Internet Explorer

Thank you! Yes using a different browser worked. I didn't do this initially because these functions did work with Edge which is the browser in question.

when you run that I.E. browser. Edge always comes barging in, wanting you to use it instead. I never use edge for surfing.
