Hi Andy thanks for the information and can you please elaborate on what Bugs this firmware has and post a link to the official one DH_SD-Prometheus_MultiLang_PN_Stream3_V2.800.1341000.0.R.200312 if it has Auto tracking Enabled.

have some focus issues, we used the 0310 too and get some report.
We can't share the link here because i sign a contract with dahua, when this model end of life, i will post here.
The new 49225XA V2 will be no AT function anymore. Looks like just change a new chips supplier, function is totally same as the V1 one.
The V1 chips are really good, V2 maybe not as good as the V1.

Chips price increase so fast, dahua and hikvision both will increase the price in March, the 4k colorvu has badly lack of chips now due to the US ban.

I have this firmware on my own camera and Zero focus issues so far 220 days in service . This has been installed on lots of members camera's and installs I have done for friends and family without any reported focus issues in the past 12 months or so.
I'm planning an upgrade to my own SD49225XA-HNR soon to 8mp and a 2/3" sensor :)

I am very Luck to have 1 of the 2 LED street lights in the street which is directly outside my house.. These 2 lights suppose to be ok for around 50 houses.

Ok had an hour spare and wanted to see how better the official firmware was compared to what I had on my camera.

Here is a clip from each firmware in regards to focus issues. Both clips are taken around the same time of day and same location.

First is my listed "Secret Firmware" DH_SD-Prometheus_Multi_PN_Stream3_V2.800.13410000.0.R.200310.bin

Here is Andy's Official firmware that fixes bugs and Focus issue's but to me this firmware has BAD focus issues. DH_SDPrometheus_Multi_PN_Stream3_V2.800.13410000.0.R.200312.bin

I have to agree that the first video seems much sharper focus. Out of curiosity, did you tweak the second one in any way, especially compared to tweaks to the first one?

Not at all and was trying to get the best possible image for both. I have tried ALL the focus setting from auto to default with and without PFA I just can not get this Official firmware to focus proper as seen in the clips. Although mine is not perfect I feel it is much better than the official firmware which to me is extremely slow to focus when tracking at night compared to the secret firmware.

OK a little further Investigation and I have now done a few Full Factory Updates in concession with defaults and this seams to be behaving better with focus. I don't think it cleared the camera's memory proper with the first update and as always put everything back to default. I will test it over the next few weeks to see if any focus improvement on my camera.

I just got the SD49225XA-HNR from Loryta on Amazon. I love it and the auto tracking works amazing for me, but the only issue i have found so far is the amount of time it will track for is preset to 15 secs and when i try to change it to 30 secs or anything else it automatically reverts back to 15 secs. Does anyone else share this experience or is there a setting that i need to change?

Device Type SD49225XA-HNR
System Version V2.800.1341000.0.R.P9.2520.UN.NR, Build Date: 2020-03-12
WEB Version V3.2.1.819501
ONVIF Version 18.12(V2.4.5.729857)
PTZ Version V2.401.0000000.64.RHNZ_200219_34642
Security Baseline Version V2.0

Thats all the info. Thanks.

Is this camera better than the Loryta SD49425XB-HNR at night? Trying to purchase either one. Thanks again.
Based on the light, 2mp always good for low light place, like this guy's street light, 4mp can work very well. He may need a 12MP PTZ :D
4MP is a little weak at very low light place. Not means can't work,I will grab one to test on looney's place.

By the way, can make a screenshot for your 0312 fw ptz Version? Need some compare for the PTZ version.
