Understood. When you plug cameras into an nvr you (mostly) lose the ability to hit their Web interface. With this camera, losing that ability would be crippling for full control of all settings found in the menus. In newer nvr's, I see they have included a number of controls typically found in a cameras web interface, seemingly as a way to bridge that gap a bit. Mostly those controls pertain to fixed cameras, certainly nothing more for ptz. Maybe in pss there is some further access to menu control. But a ptz camera for the nvr user probably means that the camera should go straight to the network to have control over Web Access and then import the camera to a channel in the nvr for simple ptz control. This I'm guessing. Keep in mind there are nvr users who need to understand how ptz's integrate with them, like me lol. Ptz's need full menu access beyond simple ptz control at times, even in a pinch during crisis during target tracking.
