Dahua SD8A840-HNF-PA Auto Tracking

Does anyone know how to enable auto tracking on the Dahua SD8A840-HNF-PA? It seems to have a different interface than what I'm used to on these.
 
As an eBay Associate IPCamTalk earns from qualifying purchases.
Oh that is the new interface (yuck LOL).

Here is a video on how autotracking is setup on another PTZ with that new interface, so fingers crossed it is the same for this one!

Interesting I didnt see, or missed, the Target Tracking size/ratio setting ion the new interface...

I don't believe the auto tracking is working correct. I was watching your video and the motion duration was set to 300 and it went back to home. Can u check this and see if that's true.

ptech didn't post any videos and the only video in this thread was a sample video that stopped tracking once the subject was out of the frame.

Any time a tracking PTZ loses the object, it returns home regardless of the tracking duration time.

Or is this a bot trying to learn by posting on an almost 2 year old thread :lmao:

Well I just didn't no this. I purchased

Diamond DahuaOEM SD5A825GA and it has the same issue so I sent it back thinking there something wrong with the firmware. Why have a duration time ,idle time, etc I saw your post researching a new ptz u have any recondemation.​
