Dahua smartpss format hdd

Hi all,

I was trying to format the Dahua nvr via smartpss, logged in via admin account, when I select format hdd it comes up with a fault message:

"Failed to save local storage information"

Any suggestions how to format the drive ?

If your hard is broken?
Try to do this at NVR.
More over put usb flash to you nvr & reboot it.
After load your nvr at your usb flash possible txt log file.
Smart send only command, so if any problem it at your nvr with your hdd.
