Dahua Smartpss Playback issue

Hi,
I have a Dahua NVR (NVR4108-P-4Ks2 8 channels) and watch my recorded videos with smartpss since 2014. Since this week when i try to playback my videos, it stops immideatly when i press play or double click the motion event. It seems to start showing the video but stops after 0,5 seconds. Tried to install new firmware on the NVR (v4.001.0000005.1 build 2020-11-26) and latest smart pss sotware (DH_SMARTPSS-Win64_En_IS_V2.003.0000004.0.R.201021). also formatted my harddisk and tried on other pc but issue still remains. Do i need to buy new NVR?
 
Have you tried playback on the NVR itself? I would test that first. Not likely that you need to replace your NVR, more likely a connection issue.
 
Probably nothing wrong with your NVR

Iframe setting can play a role. If set more than the FPS I’ve seen SmartPSS struggle to find the first full frame of an event recording which is actually a separate recording from the full time
