Before I found this site and the Dahua Starlight cams, I had intended to buy the new Ring POE Stickup (2018 version still not shipping). I know it's a different animal than going the NVR/Dahua route but I couldn't find any tech spec for the camera or sensor. Anyone know what it's built with and how the cameras compare ?
I've already got a Ring doorbell so I'm a captive of their subscription. There's some attraction to using the Ring ecosystem and phone app for the ease of management. I realize there's downsides in terms of control perhaps vs the apparent ease in just popping up the Ring app to see and manage what you need. Sorry thinking out loud but wondering if any of you have looked into the Ring cam.
