So I have some Dahua TiOC cameras on a Dahua NVR5216-16P-EI.

I have a VESTA security system which can integrate Dahua IP TiOC cameras but it needs to "find" them on the network.

The cameras appear to be hidden from the network behind the NVR.

Any ideas how to make them visible to the LAN?

Certainly appreciate any advice!

Buy an inexpensive switch and plug the camera and NVR into it and run the switch to wherever you pulled the NVR connection out of

I have a number of cameras on an external switch as well as a bunch plugged directly into the NVR.

Be sure to login to the camera and change its IP to a static one on your LAN before unplugging it from the NVR . I like to use .200 and up.

Then your NVR will find it and you can move it by manual adding it on the camera registration page

Thanks for help!

So while researching a switch as you suggested I found the "switch" settings within the NVR and changed the mode from "Route" to "Bridge" which allowed everything on the NVR to now be a part of my LAN.

Appreciate the tip with using a switch!

Problem solved and I'll use .200 and above for the camera addresses :)

That’s another way to do it. LOL

There are trade offs, you lose the plug n play on adding cameras, you lose the security of the 10.1.1.x network like a VLAN.
You lose some other things like common NTP, and a few others.

But yeah it works just like having added an external switch.
