Dahua video IP intercom kit with Synology Surveillance station horrible sound

Hi all,

When i configure my kit, almost default except network, admin password and language all is working fine.

However, when configuring Surveillance station (Synology 413j) to connect to my VTO2000A as a security cam. which is also working great, when i answer a door call it's not possible to listen to the caller. All i hear is a creaking sound. All other functions are working
After disabling the surveillance station i have to reset the VTO2000A to default and config this again.
I've tested this several times, it's only occuring when enabilng surveillance station.
Averything is CAT5 wired.

Does anybody has a suggestion where to look?

Hi!
I can remember that I had a similar issue. I recall that it was related to a-law and u-law conversion.
Pls. check that all of your systems use the same "law". Be sure also to have actual FW on the VTO, there was for sure a bug in the past related to that.
 
Hi, please can anybody tell me how I can setup my vto2000a camera as a security cam in the synology surveillance station software. I tried it but.... No connection
