I have a 2-wire setup (ip-gateway) with 1x VTO (modular) at front door and 3x VTH for each floor.
The default factory image was v3.12x (non-SIP) and has been upgraded to v4.3 SIP. The upgrade from 1 of 3 VTH devices failed but could be recovered using TFTP method.
Upgrade Steps:
- upgraded MCU
- upgraded firmware + config Reset
- reset to factory defaults and reinitialized devices
- manual reconfiguration
- automatic reconfiguration via config tool (building config)
VTO:
FW: General_VTOXXX_Eng_P_16M_SIP_V4.300.0000000.1.R.20190305.bin
MCU: General_VTO2000A-MCU_APP_V3.000.0000000.0.R.20181123.bin
VTH:
FW: General_VTH1550CHW-2_Eng_SIP_V4.300.0000000.4.R.20190321.bin
MCU: General_VTH15X0CH-6_ENG_MCU_STM8S003K3_V8.000.0000.0.R.170825.bin
Problem:
The connection between VTO and VTH devices is interrupted sporadically.
The network connection is stable and all devices are reachable via "ping" (ICMP) and can be also found via config tool / VDPConfig --> But the connection to VTO is down!
Sometimes it is working 30 minutes - then connection drops - and after some more minutes the connection will come back.
Because of my additional door bell and RFID module I have to switch the device type to "Small Apartment" to be able to configure the "Facade Layout".
And it seems that these connection problems starts with the change of the device type from "Villa" to "Small Apartment".
I already tried different firmware images (and versions) from different sources like dahua ftp and german IP-Phone-Forum with the same result.
Problem exists in both ways: manual configuration and automatic configuration (building config)
Any ideas how I could solve these connection problems?
