Dahua VTO2111D and VTH5221D-S2 Issue - VTH is blank when called

Hi all,

So I have been reading a few posts on here (which have been very helpful and similar) but unfortunately I have been unable to resolve my issue. So I have decided to create a new thread for my devices.

I have a Dahua VTO211D which has been correctly setup to my VTH5221D-S2 through a sip server. The two devices are connected correctly; I am able to call the VTH from my VTO and monitor the VTO from my VTH. I also use the VTO in my NVR and have setup the VTO for push notifications on my phone. Both devices are using cable (no wifi).

My issue is, when the button is pushed on the VTO, the VTH will ring but show a blank/black screen and then say 'Network abnormal, video connect timeout’

I have also ensured that the firmware is up to date with the latest versions (through VDP config)
VTH 4.01.0000000.3.R
VTO 4.300.10BE000.0.R

I have also ensured both devices were moved to default and were re-setup.

All resolved.
The vto was plugged into the router and the vth was plugged into a hub off the router.
Solution, move vto and vth in to the same hub..
Dahua support was also pathetic.... avoid them at all costs.

Having the same problem, I'm using the Dahua Poe switch. Would like more details on solution you found.
