Dahua VTO2202F doorbell video intercom tamper alarm going off!

Hi all, I have a Dahua video doorbell intercom that the tamper alarm keeps going off. I seen the other thread and not much was found for a solution. Does anyone know how to turn off completely the tamper alarm feature? I can't live with this sound in the middle of the night and not pleasing to my neighbors! I tried lowering the alarm volume with no success. I just installed it and don't want to have to rip it all off. Works like a charm, just this annoying tamper started now. Thank you to all, I'm sure someone here can lead me to the right direction or help me solve this issue. Thanks again

Are you sure it is properly secured and screwed to the mount so that the tamper switch is fully closed?

Have you read the threads on IPCT here?

Hi Tony, yes its properly secured to the wall with a Dahua surface mount box and the two security screws as well. I also read the thread here before posting.

I put the system up about two weeks ago and it just started doing the tamper alarm this week which is weird. It does it at least twice a day now, the first one is at about 4am. Today it did it in the morning and them again in this evening. Why it didn't do it before is weird but nothing has changed. The ethernet cable from the door to the switch is brand new line I ran and tested as well. I just unplugged the door station port from the switch until I find a solution. I love how it works and the mobile alerts as well. But that sound is loud and annoying and I don't want to annoy my neighbors. Hoping to find a solution. Thanks

Okay, I am putting this out here, just in case someone else is having the same issue I am having. So yesterday I turned off volume for tamper alarm, but the tamper alarm still sounded with volume off. Today I rebooted the VTO and I just got a tamper alarm with no sound. Did the reboot fix the problem? I have no idea. I will continue to monitor. I thought this suppose to reboot once a week? Why am I getting a tamper alarm on a daily basis is the question. Outdoor intercom is securely mounted to Dauhua surface mount box and security screws installed. I will continue to monitor it and keep my fingers crossed that turning the volume off and rebooting the device fixed my issue. Just wanted to put it out here just in case someone is having the same issues I am. Thanks to all!
