A Chinese ds-2cd2132f-iws got bricked, without knowing how I did that, as I did not touch the firmware. Since I noticed that a device with IP 192.0.0.64 was attached to my network (overview of attached devices in router), I thought, let's give TFTP a try to debrick the device. Instructions are easy to find and also provided by Hikvision. After some tries, I noticed that indeed the cam connected to the TFTP and the last recieved the message is
According to the TFTP instructions, I should also recieve a message that the system update completed, or something similar. Such message was not recieved even after ±15 minutes. I rebooted the cam, but it is still bricked. Just to be sure that I've used the correct firmware file, could you point me to the firmware that I should use? Did I miss something in following the procedure? Any ideas how I can debrick the cam?
