I am kinda of a newb here. I've been wanting to get some cameras setup. A couple years ago, I picked up an sv3c POE 1080p camera and some POE gear. Fast forward to now, I've had some free time, so I finally ran CAT6 to the attic and hooked everything up and was able to log into the camera and what not. I ate dinner, setup zone alarm, and found out that the camera wasn't working. I can't ping it, and my pfSense router is only picking up a "incomplete" mac address from the camera. I can see the red LEDs working, so I am guessing that either the wind storm knocked something in the crimped end loose or the camera ate it. Either way, I'll have to get the ladder out to check the wiring, which isn't happening in this windstorm.

Anyway, I am looking for a decent POE camera that can be used in Zone Minder. Any suggestions? Also, I'd probably use Blue Iris, but I already have a Linux box running 24/7 with 27 TB of disk space, NVIDIA GPU, etc.
