Does anyone have any experience with the Deepinview cameras (such as those offered within the IDS range) or NVR's? How further advanced are the video analysis algorithms and features from what has been included into the Acusense cameras and NVR's? I'm wondering whether it's worth spending more for reduced false alerts?

DeepInView is the top of the line AI camera that Hikvision makes. It is more advanced due to it being able to detect behavior instead of the human/vehicle of the Acusense. The AI is suppose to be faster in DeepInView compared to the Acusense. If you already have an existing system then yes you can get either cameras. If you get the Acusense NVR DS-....NXI.... then you can have up to four regular cameras and the NVR itself will do the AI processing. Any more than four then you will need the AI cameras to do the processing on the camera itself. DeepInMind NVR (iDS) will do all channels with regular cameras. If you pair AI NVR with AI cameras then it is suppose to increase accuracy of false alarms even further but the price of entry is crazy for that. Cheapest Acusense NVR will start at $500 USD while DeepInMind starts at $2000 USD.
