That camera has very weak IR. You need to add ir light or better yet, outdoor lighting.

Yes. The turret cameras IR is rated 3x the mini dome. The EXIR on the turret is also better than the tiny leds.
A mini dome like that is only suitable for well lit environments or small spaces where IR can easily reflect and brighten the image.

wow, that's crazy. I did buy mostly turrets because of your recommendations, I guess they should have all been turrets. I think I will figure out an IR story, I just don't want that one time when I really need the footage to be such bad quality that I can't see anything.
