I'm not a computer guru by any means but I'm learning as I go. I picked up a Dell Optiplex 7070 mid-tower as my new Blue Iris / CodeProject machine and would like to add a GPU or TPU. I have never used a GPU or TPU and I'm looking for recommendations for one over the other. My plan at a minimum is person detection but would like to try face recognition and some other custom models. The PC power supply is only 260w so I believe I'm limited to the GPU I could use so I didn't know if the TPU is a better option. Has anyone set up a similar machine to do what I'm wanting to do? Any advice on what I need as far as components?

You can use the Object Detection (YOLOv5 .NET) CodeProject.AI module and this will use the iGPU in your i7 9700 CPU. If this is not fast enough for you then think about adding a Nvidia GPU
Thanks for the reply. I tried and it was too slow so I would like to use a GPU or TPU. Like to find more information on a TPU.
