Have tried looking for firmware for the mini PTZ everywhere, spending hours and hours on it.

Finally got something which works from Dahua for these early generation mini PTZ cameras.

I have one of those still working. The firmware on it is... Software Version2.400.0000.4.R.T1.484, build : 2015-06-07
Is that the same firmware?

Well, the version works, but I'm getting the idea that this firmware is a bit too much for this old camera.

I've downgraded again to this version. For me, this one works better.
