DHI-NVR608-32-4KS2 Save Recording File - Please Help

DHI-NVR608-32-4KS2 - I cannot figure out how I can save files from this NVR. I am running V4.001.0000001.0, Build Date: 2020-07-21. Can someone please tell me how to save video files to a USB drive. I have tried both the monitor interface and the web interface - no luck. I am able to save snapshots but I in terms of video I am lost on this. Thanks!

AFAIK, can only be done via monitor console

1. goto search
2. select only the channel of interest
3. navigate to the start time on the video, click on the timeline at bottom of screen
4. click the cut 'scissor' icon. this populates the start time to save...
5. navigate to the end time on the video, click on the timeline at bottom of screen
6. click the cut 'scissor' icon. this populates the end time to save
7. click the save 'floppy disk' icon
8. select the USB device to save to
9. click backup
