DHW2449T-S-PRO vs S-PV

Here is one of my current FW dead cameras, this has very nice power board circuit, 6 smd caps and 2 through hole, smd fuse and camera 2021. Sorry all cameras have fuses on PCB. Even the Doorbells have more then one fuse. One that dies in them are on main camera pcb. Just because a smd fuse in some cases look like resistor they are fuses. I have yet to work on 1 camera that didn't have a fuse. Even a fusable resistor is a fuse, just multi purpose fuse.

Ok, fusible resistors. Either way, if you replace a shorting cap without replacing an open fusible resistor, the circuit will not function. He only mentioned replacing capacitors and it works for a little while and then quits. Something else is failing and drawing too much current in the circuit causing the caps to fail. I still say it's a semiconductor in the power supply circuit failing. Time to get a meter and start checking for abnormal readings. Schematic would certainly help, but I doubt you'll find one on these devices
 
Also said and fails later, Also in my text I mention other things as well that should be looked at, never once did I say that it was a fuse. Just some added things that if a camera is dead look at the fuse as well.

Here is old motorized dauha camera, fuse and on the power board there is a fuse not just a fuse but a resetting fuse on that cameras power board. Not even sure why we are having this Debate? Every electric device has a fuse if it doesn't they are setup to fail beyond repair.

No debate. Just saying that it sounds like a failing semiconductor rather than a failing cap issue. Seems like something is drawing too much current, cooking the cap(s), if the same caps are being replaced every time. He never mentioned anything other than caps.
