Difference between DS-2CD1043G0-I and DS-2CD2043G0-I

Can someone please explain the difference between the two? The local Hikivision Distributors/Dealers here are only selling DS-2CD1043G0-I model which seems to be a plastic housing, it does say IP67 but is it safe to put it outdoors? I cannot seem to find the difference between the two, other than the 1043 less weight than 2043 and 1043 has no SD card slot. While on 1043 there is no wording like Outdoor whereas on 2043 it clearly says it is for Outdoors.

Any help in clarifying this would be appreciated.
