Differences between Dahua IPC Firmware 2.622 and 2.800 branch / cameras freeze constanstly

Hey Guys,

So i've upgraded my Cameras from 2.662 branch to the 2.800 firmware branch a while back but only see new releases for the 2.622 branch as of now:



Is there any information on what's the big difference between those two?

Also, I have an issue where ALL cameras freeze every other week or so completely, have to unplug them to get them up again. changed PoE Switch already, no change. All cams are affected. Any idea what could cause this?

You firstly have to make sure your camera you use are on the list of the fw, this fw is for the dual lens cam IPC-HDBW4231F-E2-AS, not for the normal cam.
It's bit hard to understand from the version you posted, so list the models

Oh? I thought Hx5X3X specifies the firmware "family".
I have a IPC-HDW4631EM-ASE - IPC-HDW4631EM-ASE lists a "DH_IPC-HX5X3X-Rhea_MultiLang_NP_Stream3_V2.800.0000018.0.R.210707 " firmware, so I went to grab the latest HX5X3X from the download section. I previously had the V2.800.0000018.0.R.210707 installed though with the same issues.

Make some hard reset on the camera and try again, press the reset button for 5-7 seconds. Make sure camera is powered.

Issue seems to be solved. the crash was caused by a rogue ffmpeg client.
